I recently hosted a bunch of my girlfriends over for our annual girls Christmas party! We’ve started a tradition of getting together and having a delicious dinner, drinks, and capping the night off with a yankee swap. You know I love the entertaining, so I’m always the one offering up my little home for our gathering! We usually all come dressed in goofy, festive outfits with being comfortable our number one goal… it’s a day to let loose and have some fun!! I had a theme this year that was inspired from seeing Pizzazzerie host one last month and I instantly loved it. Sleigh, Girl Sleigh, meaning the term “slay” but in Christmas form. Super fun and perfect for our girls only get together. I incorporated bells into the mix because anytime I think of a sleigh, I think of sleigh bells. You’ll see this used throughout the party on the table and bar area. You know when you’re hosting a party and think you have all the time before your guests arrived? That was me and then instantly scrambling to take a few pictures for you all as much guests were walking in the door! I got a few for you…
I greeted the girls with a signature champagne cocktail which is a nice way to set the tone for your guests. I used my recipe from last year and poured them into custom cups from Sip Hip Hooray. I would’ve liked to make the rosemary “snowy” but I ran out of time!
For the bar area, I adorned it with lots of garnish options, and fun cocktail napkins, and coordinating cups and Koozies.
Each girl took home a koozie as a favor along with their bell name tag you’ll see below.
I love this banner I ordered off Etsy for the party. Etsy is my go to place for party needs!
I served a yummy dinner for everyone and it was so nice to all sit together at the table and have some fun. I put out all my dishes so as soon as the food was ready, I knew exactly where it was going. An easy prep tip. This table looks like an ad for Aqua Panna, but it’s seriously just my favorite water of all time. I always try to have this on my table when I have guests over.
We had these little naughty and nice boys that act as drink markers which I was totally obsessed with! They were so cute!
Instead of having a little photo area with props, I kept is simple and had everyone send me their snapchat pictures from the day. With the snapchat filters, it was perfect to go along with our festive theme and saved me time from setting up props and photo spot! Do this at your next party!!
We also welcomed our newest girl into the party mix this year! Meet Miss Hadley Kate! Cutest little thing I ever did see!! Her outfit tho…. die.
I hope you guys found some inspiration for your next party; we had an absolute blast! Two things I took away from this day… I drank all the Champagne there was this day, and apparently I like the kiss face in my photos. (oops) I sleighed it! Looking forward to next year already!
