Hallelujah!! About time we have some nice weather! I was beginning to think we were living in Seattle where it’s constantly gloomy and rainy. It’s so true that warmer weather instantly puts people in better moods. I swear we are all seasonally depressed and as soon as a glimpse of the warm sun finally hits our face our attitudes change around and everyone is so much more enjoyable! Lets just hope it stays this way. I have a fun living room refresh to share with you today. Im constantly saying to people that you don’t need to start with a blank canvas and get everything new. Of course, we would all love to do that but sometimes its just not realistic and not in the budget. Sometimes its just a matter of repositioning a few items and getting some decor that really brings life back into the space. I love the color we brought into this room and it instantly makes for a more welcoming space. Come see how a few changes went a long way in this room.
Voila! I swoon for so many items in this room. (yes, coffee table being number 1. ) For the space as a whole I moved the chair from the corner to create more of a living space surrounding the coffee table. I also eliminated a table to make the space not feel so cramped. Also above the couch I removed the picture that was hung too high and replaced with a mirror to coordinate with the TV stand which is black as well. It made for a balance of the space.
Please tell me you are head over heels in love with this coffee table as much as I am? She is a beauty!! This table was backordered and as I tell people often its worth the wait to just be patient, and this was no other! Ballard designs absolutely kills it with their coffee tables and are my absolute favorite. Its the focal point of the room and really brings in that light that I wanted into the space.
Say hello to one of my favorite accent stools. You guys know I love these and I put them in every room that I can. I love the detailing on this one!
I wanted to add some color to the walls and I’m always searching on Etsy to find affordable prints. I just added a colorful frame for two of these prints and hung them up. It tied the whole space in.
This client loves to display family photos so I wanted the fireplace to be a focal point for all pictures. I did a mix of frames and heights to make the space pop then added a custom sign. I absolutely love how this room turned out. Hope you found a little inspiration here today! XO!
