Top of the Morning to Ya! Another Holiday; another cocktail recipe! I swear I’ll start sharing some food recipes at some point and not only yummy cocktails. But, there is always a good reason to have a drink especially on holidays which doesn’t help my cause at all. When I hear the word Margarita, you bet hell over high water I will be there with bells on. A traditional margarita is my cocktail soul mate, so you best be believing you’ll see lots of them on the blog in the warmer coming months. I know there are a lot of Irish beer type drinks for St. Patrick’s Day, but I thought I’d put a fun spin on my favorite beverage and spice it up a bit! Also, with the nor’easter yesterday and my cracked windshield from ice on my car this morning, sipping on this delicious Margarita and escaping it all sounds pretty good right now! Will it ever feel nice outside again? (sigh) Anyways, the inner Irish in me wouldn’t steer you wrong so you must try this recipe. As I was playing around with it, it just kept getting better and better. I made mine a little on the spicy side, but you can play around with yours and use less jalapeño if you’d like. I hope everyone has a great St. Patrick’s Day!
