With this current heat wave we have going on in New England, I’m really starting to crave the crisp fall weather! Summer was fabulous, but I love Fall and all that if offers. Anyone else? I’ve been meaning to start up a monthly cocktail series and figured heading into fall is the most perfect timing! And instead of only showing you margaritas (you know; my soul mate) I thought I’d branch out and try to test all types of liquors and have fun with this series. Whiskey to me screams fall. It’s toffee coloring and warmth it brings is perfect for any cocktail. Take it one step further and add apple cider and it’s basically a Fall match made in heaven. You can use traditional whiskey, but I think the honey one here gives the cocktail that much more flavor. So get your whiskey girl pants on and get down with this September Cocktail. You know what they say… ” Too much of anything is bad, but too much of a good whiskey is barley enough.” – Mark Twain
The simplest of ingredients make for a super easy cocktail to whip up!
**Adding a garnish to any cocktail is my favorite. It’s a way to elevate your drink and wow your guests with a little effort!
