Good Afternoon! I hope everyone is having a wonderful short week! Today I wanted to share a great before and after living room transformation with you. The room is now fully functional with lots of life to it! A great place to entertain or kick your feet up and watch some TV. Come see the transformation below..
TA-DA!!! Look at how much furniture and decor we used and the space feels so much larger and brighter! The room has such a new calming presence compared to the darkness the before look had. Just using the furniture and colors we used made the walls even seem lighter.
We really kept a lot of the decor to a minimum to stay on budget which is a great way to show that you don’t need a lot to make a statement. A few stand out pieces and a few pillows did just the trick!
One of my main goals was to fill in the space that the large wall had. My client was interested in the electric fireplace so it was perfect start to building on that wall. From there I added a few custom prints I made and a few decorative mirrors. We also had an electrician come in and get rid of all the electrical cords hanging from the TV.
Would you believe me if I told you those leather chairs are recliners? My client really wanted leather recliners which can be tough given their usual outdated puffy look. I found these sleek and modern looking ones for a steal of a price and they are perfectly fitting there.
I really wanted the top of the stairs to be their so called entry location. Here they can place mail or keys as well as an extra location for a couple extra seats they can pull out while entertaining. They store perfectly under this console table.
I love how this room turned out and the transformation it has made. As always, please comment with any questions you may have. I’ll be sure to get to them. All details and sources are listed below.
